To bridge the level and distance differences between the platform deck and vehicle bed we also offer the Mini dockleveller (MDL). The mini dockleveller control is user-friendly, it is a compact and sturdy solution to ensure an easy and swift loading and unloading process. User-friendliness, high quality and safety are the mini dockleveller characteristics. To ensure longevity and low maintenance, the mini dockleveller platform and lip are made of high-quality steel, and include an open self-cleaning hinged lip, meaning it is dirt, sand, and dust resistant.
Functionality is key for the mini dockleveller. Within the work range, the mini dockleveller automatically follows the upward and downward (suspension) vehicle movements during loading and unloading and due to the lateral flexibility the dockleveller will follow the ‘tilting’ movements of the vehicle as well. The mini dockleveller observes the requirements stipulated in the Machine Directive and Safety requirements EN 1398.

The mini dockleveller MDL is available as what is referred to as an edge model (ramp model) Type: MDL-R.
This type of mini dockleveller is standard delivered including a pair of bumpers
ADB-3010 (W x H x D = 250 x 300 x 100 mm).

THERMo galvanized finish

Thermo galvanising is an effective treatment to ensure a durable anti-corrosion protection. Especially in the food industry (meat and fish processing industry) the application of a hot dip galvanized dockleveller is preferred. The life span of a zinc coating can vary between 10 to 50 years, all depending on the atmosphere to which the galvanised steel is exposed. 
After the preparation of the steel for galvanisation (e.g. degreasing, rinsing, drying, etc.) it is immersed in a zinc bath, filled with liquid zinc at a temperature between 445°C and 465°C.
After the galvanizing process, the Mini dockleveller can still optionally be painted in the standard colour black RAL 9005. In order to let the paint bond to the zinc layer an additional layer of primer is required.

The mini dockleveller lip is also provided with a 12/14 durbar plate as a standard. The extended lip has a length of 350 mm, this means the length increase of the top platform is 350 mm as soon as the lip is extended.
When bumpers with a depth of 100 mm are used, the lip has a supporting surface depth of 250 mm on the vehicle bed. If extended, the extended lip is not blocked, and will therefore not be able to move if forces apply. Apart from the lip, the mini dockleveller will automatically follow each upward and downward (suspension) movement of the vehicle. Due to the lateral flexibility the leveller will also follow the ‘tilting’ movements of the vehicle.

ATTENTION!
The lip support must at least equal 100 mm! It is essential to take the lip support into consideration when selecting the mini dockleveller model and corresponding bumpers.

The mini dockleveller lip is provided with tapered sides. This means that the front side of the lip is narrower. This increases the range of the mini dockleveller in relation to the width; even smaller vehicles can be loaded and / or unloaded in this manner.

The degree in which the lip is made narrower depends on the angle and length of the gradient. For mini dockleveller MDL-R the angle is 45º and the length of the gradients is 100 mm, resulting in a narrowing of 100 mm. In total the front side of the lip is therefore 2 x 100 mm = 200 mm narrower.
